I'm delighted to be a part of this month's Art Hop in Fresno, yet it comes with a tinge of sadness as I share that this will be my final one in the city. I'm embarking on a new chapter, relocating to Los Angeles to reestablish both my business and life in my hometown. My time in Fresno has been truly enriching, and I'm profoundly grateful for the support and love I've received. Conducting winter, summer, and afterschool workshops with the Fresno Unified School District has been exceptionally fulfilling, leaving a lasting impact on me. The memories shared with my students will stay close to my heart as I continue to spread the joy of art and culture through my little piñatas.
The connections forged and new relationships formed with fellow artists, business owners, and creatives have been a source of immense pride in the art and work I choose to share with the community. Although this marks a goodbye for now, I eagerly anticipate returning for my public art exhibition, "migration c/s." Until then, I carry the spirit of Fresno with me, celebrating art and culture one little piñata at a time. Gracias Fresno! Isaias D.
