This is an open, hands-on creative workshop inviting everyone to design and build their own piñata in a welcoming, community-centered space. No experience is necessary—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to play.
Participants may design an original piñata from scratch or select a pre-designed option to customize and bring to life. Whether you come in with a clear idea or prefer guided support, this workshop is structured to meet you where you are.
During the session, you’ll be guided through:
- Piñata design fundamentals and construction techniques
- Choosing shapes, colors, and textures
- Decorating and finishing your piñata
- Using creativity as a form of self-expression and intention
This workshop centers on the joy of making, slowing down, and reconnecting with creativity through a culturally rooted art form. Piñatas are symbols of celebration, resilience, and imagination, and this experience invites you to explore those ideas through hands-on creation.
To make the evening even more enjoyable,
Quesos and Boards will be providing tasty charcuterie-style treats and beverages for guests to enjoy throughout the workshop. This is a supportive, inclusive environment welcoming all backgrounds and skill levels. You may come on your own or with friends—everyone is invited.
